Personally what I value most in The Strain (in Greek issued as a trilogy

A few months before the start of the first season of The Strain, the new TV series based on the eponymous trilogy novels 49chronou director, I had the 'brilliant' idea to read them all again. Mega wrong.

And the fact that it is the megalomania of influential people (who perceive vampirism as power) that bring our end.
While, as a father, do not leave any indifferent (SPOILER ALERT) the fact that the former wife of the protagonist turns into creature of the night thirsty food photography props for blood and threatens food photography props to take his son with her to the dark side.
At the end of the day the trilogy The Strain is a novel that forces you to bleed your hands from the swiftness with which you turn the pages, full of twists and 'bumps' in the street. Another exciting journey that no one, apart from Del Toro, could not steer with such virtuosity.
