Food Photography - Workshop | thecookingknitter
A few weeks ago I was on Saturdays all about the food photography on the go. I attended a photography workshop in Karlsruhe Marie and Nancy, who called Yummy Click to life some time ago. This is all about taking pictures of goodies. Both the camera technology and the serving of food are in the foreground.
At the beginning of the event, I arrived with eleven other students in the conference room, which was decorated wonderfully cozy with countless decorative items and a small breakfast ready for us did.
After a short introduction, it gave insight into the technology, color theory and the golden section and walked slowly to the basics of food photography with image styles and inspirations over.
Of course it only to make the workshop no guarantee from now on great food images, I am still far away. For me, it was an incentive and inspiration for how I can deal with my camera and see the variety of photography and yet to remain true to my style.

For once this "Plate to Pixel" by Helene Dujardin. bidvest food Unfortunately, this book is available bidvest food only in English, but very worthwhile. The second book I can recommend the eBook "Food Photography in daylight" by Bernd Lippert. This is currently only gets to the store of Gunther Wegner (gwegner.de). Both books are not only suitable for beginners but also advanced food photographer can still learn something.
